Yazid & Co represented 1st year Advocates and Solicitors (Respondent) who was facing complaint over breach of trust and excessive legal fees.
The Disciplinary Board (albeit detailed explanation provided by the Respondent) decided to call the matter for formal inquiry before Disciplinary Committee under Section 103 of the Legal Profession Act 1976.
After listening to the Complainant and appreciating relevant cross examination by Yazid, the Chairman came to conclusion that the complaint was without merit and wrongly directed against the Respondent.
Upon the advice by the Chairman, the Complainant withdrew her complaint in toto. The complaint was struck off thereafter.
